How much fuel could you save if you took the bus instead of driving? With Arriva's new online fuel calculator, you'll be able to find out. Just enter your region and mileage and a few other details, and you'll be able to see how much petrol, money, and CO2 you'd save.
"Buses offer a way for people to considerably reduce their travel costs" says Linsey Frostick from Arriva, "even more so at the moment because fuel has become so expensive. The fuel calculator on our website will be a really useful tool for drivers in the Luton area, fed up with paying large bills at the petrol pump."
Buses and coaches are one of the most environmentally friendly forms of transport. Travelling 100 miles in a car will produce 20.5kg of CO2. A train would produce around half as much, and a coach half as much again, with just 4.8kg.
