Ask your prospective parliamentary candidate
2010 01 10 - 11:20 | Jeff
The transition movement is about building better and more resilient communities - communities that we feel great to be a part of. Our communities require change at every level, from the things we do individually, our relationships with our neighbours, the decisions made in our council and the all the things that happen in our government.
With the general election coming soon this year why not ask your ppc about the things that matter to you and make a difference for Luton at the governmental level.

Hi - how about holding a husting for parliamentary candidates in Luton North?
This is prompted by a letter in the Luton News: ‘Let’s have a debate in Luton North’ - Neil Gay, p.12 (10/03/2010)
It would be great to replicate the success of the hustings in Luton South.

Wow, last night’s hustings was great! Thank you Transition Towns for all the work to pull that together.
I’ve always voted in the past without even knowing what the candidates look like let alone something of their character. I think we’re lucky to have such good calibre of prospective politicians… some very strong candidates there who know and love Luton and really want to see good things happen. Thanks to them for being willing for a grilling!
